Law Route? (Minor Spoiler)

Alright, I'm at an impasse here and I need some advice. I'm trying to do the Law route for my first play through, and I was told that following the Duke's orders at the end of Chapter 1 was the way to go about that.

I was also told that unlike Chaos route, there was no way to deviate from Law once you chose it. But now I'm at a part in the game where Sir Leonar is asking me to assume the role of leadership over the resistance, and I have the option to either side with him, or stand with the duke.

If I want to stay on the Law route, which option am I supposed to go with? I don't want to accidentally shift my playthrough to Neutral without realizing it.

Law route only have 1 route.
Chaos route branched into chaos & neutral.
All these route have same chapter 4 with some little thing happen or not happening to consequence of your choice.

So it doesn't matter if I choose to join Leonar or not?

I'm not asking for specific info on what happens later on, I'm just asking if my choice here matters for the Law route?

Some choice will affect some title you get thats it. it doesn't matter.
