Ogre Battle is an amazing series.
Its my 2nd hope!!
Still, march of the black queen is the top best game in my book. If someone tells me to choose that ONLY 1 BEST GAME, this is the one, for me......
https://store.steampowered.com/app/♥♥♥♥200/Symphony_of_War_The_Nephilim_Saga/
it has more QoL, voice acting, better UI/world map
Sega Saturn version has 5 new stages apparently
Nintendo should at least put it on the Switch VC since there is only 25k copies of SNES MotBQ in NA and PS1 copies are +300$, it keeps going up in price
I'm still holding out hope that they add them to the Switch emulator systems (comes with Nintendo Online). After all, they added Earthbound to the roster, and that game had an extremely small release here too.
Also, I agree that Nintendo should put it on their VC, they won't because again something something licencing issues, or something something it must be 100% perfectly replicated or some other ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
Nintendo does some things right, but their VC/store should be classed as some kind of war crime, the amount of content they could put up and people would pay for is crazy, but na, lets sue the emulator sites into the ground tee hee.
You want Earthbound for the snes? Better dig out a Wii U because it's not on the Switch VC because of big brain reasons! (That reason being is that we're saving it when we need to milk you some more tee hee).
No, I'm not talking about an illegal emulator program. If you have a Nintendo switch online subscription, they have a free downloadable collection of NES and SNES games you can play on it. If you pay for the expansion service, you also gain access to N64 and Sega Genesis games.
Basic online subscription is quite cheap at only 20 bucks for a 12 month service. The expansion pass is more expensive, at around 50.
Also, I do have that Nintendo subscription because I enjoy Monster Hunter Rise way too much and I hate myself for it. The games on offer are nice, but that still doesn't negate what I said about their massive back catalogue and their slowness to get with the times.
I wanna play something like Goof Troop, whelp that's never gonna happen because of not only licencing issues and Disney being massive ♥♥♥♥♥. So off to the high seas I go.
Now that's a bit too easy to tease, what about Chrono Trigger, that was on the Wii vc and never again, snes & nes Earthbound was on the Wii U and never again. Why? It's either they'll release them when their subscription numbers start to go down "Like oh ♥♥♥♥, numbers go down, give them something to make it go back up!" or pure apathy for their fandom.
They really are. But i played them several times. Sure, its back more than 20 years now, but i would something with reworked spells, models, maybe some new adds....so on.
Chrono Trigger was re-released for the handheld systems, along with some new content.
As somebody who never played the original, I was coming in without nostalgia goggles on.
Game was still an absolute masterpiece. I almost cried just from the art direction alone. Both the visuals and the music were so perfectly fit together, it was nothing short of awe inspiring.
