Summon Darkness for player characters?
Can you ever summon new models to the battlefield like Nybeth does with the Summon Darkness spell? I know there's a type of spell called a summoning spell, but that's not what I mean, not an attack spell but an actual summon.

As a further note, in the ps1 and I think psp versions, hacking in characters that can do it would summon enemies rather than allies.

Would be cool to have an ability that summoned allies, though, even if they were weak. Even if it summoned neutral units I think it would still be a neat mechanic to play around with.

I think so too. I love summoning classes in strategy games, even if the caster was very weak and could do little else themselves. Oh well
