I've kept running it over and over again, and the damn thing won't drop. I eventually just gave up.
I know it drops from a witch at elevation 9, but I don't know if that means ANY Lamia witch, or if it's a very specific encounter. One encounter has a bunch of hawkmen, and the other has a bunch of orcs.
Also, do you know if she drops it from a loot bag during the fight, or if it's something you obtain after finishing the battle? Because if it drops mid fight, that will allow me to reload the fight much more frequently than what I've been doing.
World back to CODA 2 -> do warren report to re-open San Bronsa -> go back to floor 3 grab more divine knights.
This is WAY less headache than creating your own Divine Knights IMO.
Yeah actually this is actually a better approach. Yeah you can definitely repeat and recruit the divine knights. Do you have winged rings/winged boots? Those are super helpful especially on the 3rd level. I equipped those on my OP dragoon, Myrdin, Gildas, Ozma, and Ravness and they just devastate the enemy team. They can cut down the archers while some guys can cut down the divine Knights' health a bit and then use seraph's pact (cleric skill) to recruit. It's a little tricky with debuffs like cursed/frightened cuz you won't be able to recruit them
I've got several pieces of flying equipment, as well as teleporting gear (which also makes you immune to pits). For those who don't have them equipped, I can usually give them immunity to knockback.
Is there a particular weapon style that Ozma should be equipped with to make her 'the most OP character in the game?'
I've been having her use whips since I recruited her, and the damage is not as great as I was hoping it might be.
My Ozma has been using whips, specifically the supple whip, which is a drop from palace of the dead floors (52-58). I think I upgraded her whip at one of the shops since you can upgrade relics and the supple whip damage right now is 12. The supple whip has a chance to cause a status ailments called cursed, which reduces hp and mp. I also increased her strength and dex which are 243 and 241 respectively.
You could try a 2h sword like the durandal. if you really want to go thru the effort - you could snag a cursed 2h sword from potd from floor 58 and sacrifice a strong generic unit. It's a huge hassle when it comes to pouring stat charms, but Gildas right now uses the 2h cursed sword
I'm mad that after my first run of PotD, the only cursed weapon I found was the cursed spear. I sacrificed a level 50 Lizardman Juggernaut to give it the Fire property, then equipped it to the red Dragoon guy.
Ya try the 2h sword. Spears are great. The one downside is that the higher tier spears can't counter within one square, but either that they're a solid choice!
Would definitely try to farm a bunch of relic weapons and upgrade them!! 😊 Hit me up if you have questions! I'm playing on the switch!!
I'm also playing it on the Switch, but I own it for PC as well.
I have already cleared it once. I didn't have the patience to visit every single room, but I did manage to defeat Nybeth. I also cleared out the elemental temples, and made sure to save it all with an anchor point on the Law route.
Did you figure out the blow gun exploit, yet?
Baldur Blowguns sell for nearly 3x the price needed to craft them. Meaning you can craft 999 of them, then sell them back to the shop and make literally millions of gold in the process.
I don't know the exact numbers, but I think crafting 999 baldur blowguns costs somewhere around 1-2 million gold, but you can resell them for 6 million.
Oh ya! I definitely did! You can't afford the endless supplies of blessing stones and healing items without a million of goth 😉. It def helps a bit. What helps even more are the relics and the stat charms!!
I have not made it that far on the tower yet, but if it's anything like Ring of the Dead, and the two undead books, I'm guessing I need to see this scene first, before Exsanguined Rood will begin appearing as a loot drop.
Question is, do I need to complete the entire tower first, or can I withdraw after seeing it and go back to grinding the first floor?
The Ensanguined Rood's appearance in the loot tables of the enemies that can drop it is indeed tied to the completion of the story battle on Floor 3 of the Tower of Law Eternal.
You can withdraw from the dungeon after completing the story battle and immediately start farming Ensanguined Roods from Floor 1, there's no need to complete the entire dungeon.
Thank you for clarifying the answer, even if this is a very old post. <3
I would get started immediately, but I'm currently running through Palace of the Dead, trying to get my hands on the cursed weapons.
After clearing floor 3 and going back to the first level of the tower, I got an Exsanguined Rood on my 3rd try!
