If not yet, elemental shrines and PotD they sometimes show up.
I REALLY wish they would have let us recruit the pallet swapped enemies this time around. Some of them look cool.
Dark Dragon also (higher HP) and their breath can cause Enfeeble.
Arc and Dark are hands down the best dragons, as they are the best tanks. Since most stages w/elements that arent light or dark will struggle with them, and if you check the battle, you can either take light on light or dark on dark for a better tank, or opposites on those stages for more damage. Their breath attacks are great as well. Really ANY dragon is good in this role, but those two are the ones I have had the best time with.
Cockatrices are great for control, as their petrify is pretty reliable. Hydra's are my personal favorite, but I like those on ANY game so I am biased when it comes to them.
Pff, 8 Flood Dragons and make Denam a Beast Master. :V Or you aren't hardcore enough.
Being able to constantly stay within range to use Empower Beast/Dragon even if my monster is an octopus that swam across a small river or a gryphon has been a game changer.
It's too bad the zombie hawkmen in Ch2 Phorampa only ever seem to be Rune Fencers. If I could have a zombie hawkman beast tamer with 4 zombie octopi, that would be so ridiculous to watch in action.
