Why can't I drag and drop items when hosting ?

When I host a game xith my friends, I can't drag and drop item and so I can't even equip an armor, does anybody got a solution please ?

you sure its just mp thats bugged? thats a current glitch rn all have. Last patch broke controllers for everyone except one person (think they where trolling) theres another post with like 15 people below this..or was in bugs

...unless your keyboard and mouse...which would make this a 'new glitch' (mp is quite buggy) and I would post it on discord

If you bring up the steam overlay with shift-tab, the game will sometimes think the shift button is stuck and not let you click and drag, only transfer.

Doing it again usually fixes it for me.

I just tried playing today again for like the first time in a week or so (I got really pissed off that the slime boss is bugged and you can't kill him. I'm finding more and more things about this game that tic me off). Anyway, I didn't Alt tab or anything. First thing I did was check my quests and open my inventory to see what needed sorting.

SINGLE player mode. I can only click things and they go to my hot bar or don't move at all. I can put things in the sell portal but can't split stacks. Was coming here to report this as well.

I have the same thing as you and I'm a keyboard + mouse player

same here with keyboard and mouse in single player. Played for a few hours already today, stopped working after reaching mines lv 50. Quitting the game and restarting worked for me.

So this was happening to me and my sister. Being a inventory neat freak this was very frustrating. My sister googled this issue, and she said it had something to do with the game thinking the shift key is being pressed done for some reason due to this latest patch. So I thought, the game can't think your shift key is being pressed if your keyboard isn't plugged in. Unplugging it and plugging it back in has helped me and her.

TL;DR Unplugging your keyboard and plugging it back in fixes the issue

I've unplugged my controller and suddenly I can drag again, seems to be something with gamepad that's connected to the PC.

I am playing on my laptop and can't drag & drop. But when I unplug the gamepad, I can do it.

ドラッグ＆ドロップができない原因は「パッチによってシフトが入力されていると勘違いしている」
あるパッチからシフトキーが入力されていると認識されている場合があるため
対策しないといけないらしいです。

方法は２つ

① シフト＋タブ でオーバーレイを開いたりすると治る説

②ゲームパッドが干渉しているので取り外す

自分は②で解決しました。
