We’re excited to announce that Sun Haven Patch 1.3: New Romanceables and Farm Buildings is now available on Steam! This patch includes 3 New Romanceables, tons of new Farm Structures and Crafting Stations, Player Birthdays, a Combat Arena with Multiplayer Boss Battles, 6 New DLC Packs, major optimization improvements, an Encyclopedia for pets, mine progress, and items, and more!

This text is not translated yet, but we’re working to bring these new translations to PC as soon as possible!

There’s a lot that we have to share, so let’s jump right into Patch 1.3’s highlights!

Shang, Miyeon, and Lucius are looking extra dreamy in their summer outfits!

The three new romanceables are finally here! You will have the option to romance and marry two brand new characters, as well as another that you may have met already...

• Shang, the Righteous Swordsman - Coming to Sun Haven with a mysterious mission, Shang spares words and forms bonds very carefully. Living under a personal code of strict honor, this swordsman may find himself forced to make a decisive choice in the fate of his future.
  
• Miyeon, the Timid Angel - A new arrival in Sun Haven, Miyeon has moved to town with her accomplished parents. Living under the pressures of perfection, the anxious angel has quite the journey to spread her wings and fly.
  
• Lucius, the Moon Attendant - The Attendants to the Moon are a special caste of Nel’Varians that exist outside the village’s normal livelihood. The Moon Elf Lucius has learned not to expect the companionship of outsiders, though this isn’t to say he isn’t hopeful…

Each new Romanceable has their own unique dates, cutscenes, dialogue, keepsakes, and wedding rings! These characters also have certain unlock requirements. Be sure to talk to other NPCs and continue through the main quests to meet these amazing new characters!
To unlock Shang, you’ll need to be on Day 8 or later, complete Peter’s A Special “Fish” quest, and then enter your farm to receive a quest that will lead you to Shang.
To unlock Miyeon, you’ll need to be on Day 11 or later, complete Solon’s Plan in Action quest, then enter the Town Hall to meet Miyeon.
To unlock Lucius, you’ll need to progress the main story and travel to Nel’Vari. His home can be found next to the Grand Tree.

For those of you who are achievement hunters, these new romanceables also bring new Steam Achievements!

We’re so happy to see all the excitement around the new Romanceable Characters. We’re excited to share that we have two more unannounced Romanceables coming later this year. Stay tuned for more information!

Now the seasons feel even more alive!

Farm Buildings
Who doesn’t love an organized farm? We’re excited to share that Patch 1.3 has over 10 brand-new Farm Structures, Buildings, and Crafting Stations. These structures can be used to help you process materials, store crafting stations, grow crops, or simply to help decorate your farm. These buildings include seasonal Greenhouses, Silos, Chicken Coops, Butterfly Gardens, Workshops, Ticket Counterfeiters, Mana Siphoners, and even Glorite Siphoners!

The seasonal Greenhouses can be used to plant crops from their respective seasons! You can have one of each season, and it even comes with its own built-in waterfall and farm area. The new Chicken Coop and Nel’Vari Butterfly Garden are mini barns that not only look beautiful, but they also increase your animal limit and can be used to house Chickens and Silk Moths inside. The new crafting tables are for all you troublemakers out there who have to resort to your own underhanded devices to create your own Tickets, Mana, and Glorite against the usual forest gathering method. These crafting tables are simple and don’t take many resources to gain extra currency!

We’ve also added 12 new Shed Skins to help you theme and decorate your farm just how you like it! Some of our favorites include the Beehive Shed, the Mushroom Shed, the Ghost Shed, the Pumpkin Shed, and the Cake Shed. Sheds now also have Night Lighting to brighten up your farm area in the evenings! Additionally, thanks to player feedback, we’ve increased the Shed limit from 4 total Sheds to 12 total Sheds. Now you can make even more creative farm layouts!

Speaking of building decorations, we’ve also added over 30 new House Customization Set options, which means you can mix and match hundreds of new combinations! Some of our favorites include the Cottage Core set, the Charming set, the Castle set, and the Log Cabin set. We can’t wait to see all of your new creations!

These shed nightlights will look amazing next to my Nel’Vari Butterfly Garden!

Birthday parties and[/b] gifts? Yes please! You can now choose a birthday when creating a new character, or if you’re playing on an older save, you can change your birthday once at the Town Hall. On the morning of your chosen birthday, you’ll be visited by Ronald, the Sun Haven Tavern’s Barkeep. He’ll ask you to swing by the Tavern that day - if you decide to go, you’ll be able to celebrate your birthday surrounded by your friends and other invited guests.

Don’t forget to empty your inventory before you go! The more romanceable characters you befriend, the more people you’ll have at your party - which means you’ll get even more unique gifts at the end of your birthday celebration!

Cake, gifts, and a piñata? This is the best birthday ever!!

6 New DLC Packs:
We are excited to announce 6 new DLC packs will be available on Steam very soon!

Some of these packs are even larger than the ones we released last patch, so get ready for some amazing items! Let’s take a look:

The Trick or Treat Pack contains over 35 items, including a furniture set, 10 new outfits, 1 mount, and 1 pet. This spooky-themed pack will give you a cozy fall feeling year-round. Ride around on a ghost, have a mini ghost companion follow you around, and decorate your farm to look scary good!

The Spirit Petal Pack contains over 30 items, including a furniture set, 8 new outfits, 1 mount, and 1 pet. This fae-themed pack will give your farm a mystical touch. Ride around on a koi fish, tend to a fae spirit pet, and decorate your house to feel like it’s been touched by elemental energy itself!

The Rock ‘n’ Roll Pack contains over 45 items, including a furniture set, 5 new outfits, 1 mount, and 1 pet. This Rock ‘n’ Roll pack will give you all the gear you need to look the part as you shred through Sun Haven with musical power. Ride around on a punk-rock horse, pet a heavy metal rat, and show everyone that your Rock ‘n’ Roll interior design isn’t just a phase.

The Cyberpop Pack contains over 55 items, including a furniture set, 10 new outfits, 1 mount, and 5 pets. In this Cyberpop Pack you’ll find an assortment of outfits and gadgets to take you a century (or five) into the future. Ride around on a hoverboard, pet some robotic and cyber-academia creatures, and decorate your farm to feel like a futuristic paradise.

The Funky Monkey Pack contains 1 hat, 2 mounts, and 1 pet. This Funky Monkey Pack will give you an adorable collection of banana-themed items to help you get around Sun Haven in style. You’d be bananas not to like this pack!

The Dreamy Ram Pack contains 1 hat, 1 mount, and 1 pet. These are the cutest items on this side of the Sun Haven River! This Dreamy Ram Pack will give you the sweetest collection of dreamy creatures to accompany you on your adventures.

We’re excited to share an update for Patch 1.3!

Patch 1.3 is available now on the Public Beta Environment (PBE), and we’re making great progress on finalizing the patch for release after it’s finalized on the PBE!

Patch 1.3 will be released once it’s stabilized on the PBE and we’re able to make the patch as bug-free as possible.

Without further ado, let’s jump into a sneak peak for Patch 1.3!


The New Romanceables are here - Shang, Miyeon, and Lucius!


Coming with Patch 1.3 are 3 new romanceables joining the large cast of Sun Haven characters! We’ve expanded our world with Shang, the Righteous Swordsman, Miyeon, the Timid Angel, and Lucius, the thoughtful Moon Attendant. These new characters have dates, events, bulletin board quests, and tons of new dialogue for you to explore!

We’re introducing a plethora of new structures to place around your farm in Patch 1.3! These farm structures can help you out in a bunch of different ways, not only as decorations but with some extra effects as well! Some of these buildings include seasonal Greenhouses, Silos, Chicken Coops, Ticket Counterfeiter, Glorite Mining Machine, Butterfly Gardens, and more! Thanks to player feedback, we are also increasing the Shed limit to 12, so you can decorate your farm to your heart’s content!

In addition to the new structures, sheds now have beautiful night lighting to brighten up your areas in the evenings and to liven up your farm! With the increased shed limit, we’ve also added even more Shed Skins and House Customizations to choose from. We can’t wait to see your creative farm layouts!

Everyone deserves to be celebrated on their birthday, so we’ve added a yearly event that does just that! On the morning of your birthday (which is chosen in character customization and can only be changed in the Town Hall once, so choose wisely!), you’ll receive a surprise visit from Ronald, the local Tavern’s barkeep. Head over to the Sun Haven Tavern to celebrate your birthday surrounded by your friends and other guests of Sun Haven. The more NPCs you befriend, the more people you’ll have show up to your party! Be sure to come empty with an empty inventory though, because your friends may have gifts for you!

• Updated Weather Effects and Animations. There are quite a few new seasonal weather effects that have been added, including light and heavy rain, light and heavy snow, and foggy and windy days, and themed seasonal particles around the maps of Sun Haven, Nel’Vari, and Withergate! Weather sound effects have also been added, which means that rain will finally make rain sounds!
  
• Withergate and Nel’Vari Fruit Trees.We’ve added a whole bunch of different fruit trees that can be purchased from Christine in Withergate and Clemmett in Nel’Vari. These fruit trees can also be found around the map as you’re exploring!
  
• Added Proximity Animations.We wanted to make the world of Sun Haven feel more alive, so we’ve now added proximity animations to tons of areas in Sun Haven and Withergate. You’ll now see banners waving, trees moving, windows shining, and more as you adventure through the world! You can expect to see us continue to add more animations in future patches as well.
  
• Various bug fixes.We’ve fixed tons of bugs and other issues, including digging up floor tiles in Nel’Vari, crop growths not syncing, tons of multiplayer bugs, quest and dialogue typos, controller support issues, and more!

Hey Everyone!
It’s Bruce, the Director of Sun Haven.

We’re excited to announce that Patch 1.2: Romance and Barns Update is now available on Steam! This patch includes upgradeable barns and new farm animals for Nel’Vari and Withergate, 3 new Romanceable Characters, decorative sheds, exterior house customization, updated UI, overnight cutscene events, some new cosmetic DLC packs, and more!

Disclaimer: the patch is currently available for all languages, but new items and text will only be in English for a short period of time until we can get it translated!

Let’s jump right in!

The new DLC mounts are adorable!


As we talked about in the sneak peek, previously players have only been able to have four Tier 1 barns in Sun Haven. This patch, you can now upgrade your barns all the way up to Tier 3 allowing them to look cooler, have more interior space, and hold more animals! Each upgrade to each barn gives an additional 8 slots for barn animals.

Additionally, there are also some brand new regional barns - you can now place (and upgrade!) up to 4 Elven Barns in Nel’Vari, or even own a Sewer Barn in Withergate!

To go along with all the newly upgraded barns, we’ve added some more brand-new animals and creatures that you can buy for your farm to help you collect resources and other items. There are 5 new Nel’Vari animals that can be purchased from Fonzo, and 8 new Withergate animals that can be purchased from Ur, a new Vendor in the Withergate Sewer.

These animals will be a lot more comfortable in my upgraded barn!


Three new Romanceable characters have been added as well! You will have the option to romance and marry two brand new characters, and one you may recognize from before... :

Kai, The Wayward Naga - Since washing up on shore in Sun Haven, Kai may not remember much about his past, but with your help, he might discover more about himself.
Vivi, The Bounty Hunter - A klutzy assassin out for the high bounty on your heart head. Now with getting to know her, maybe you’ll find out who placed the bounty…
Wesley, The Elven Historian - This familiar face has found commonality with many people from our community, but can you get him to open his heart?

Each new Romanceable has their own unique dates, cutscenes, dialogue, keepsakes, and wedding rings! These characters also have certain features needed to be able to unlock them. For Kai, you’ll need to reach Summer Year 1. For Wesley, you’ll need to complete the Commonality questline in Nel’Vari, and for Vivi, you’ll need to complete the Glorite Miners encounter in Withergate (yes, the one in Withergate!). So be sure to keep your eyes open, talk to other NPCs, and continue through the main quests to find these new characters!

(Also note: Wesley's Dialogue is now reset!)

For those of you who are achievement hunters, these new characters also bring new Steam Achievements!

Since announcing the three new Romanceable Characters, we’ve seen a lot of player suggestions for some more beloved characters to become romanceable, and we’re excited to share that we have several more Romanceables coming later this year. Stay tuned!

Sheds are a brand new way to customize your farm and add a bit more storage! Sheds can be crafted at a Construction Table along with the different kinds of shed skin kits which can let you change how the exteriors look. These sheds have fully customizable interiors as well, so you can store items, create role play spaces, match them to your farm, or even live in them if you want!

You can also have up to 4 on your farm at once, so you can set them up anywhere and make your own story.


These are perfect to make your adventure match your farm!


A brand new store has opened up in Sun Haven, the Hardware Store! Here you can buy individual pieces of customization for your house to change its exterior look and appearance. Lewis, the new store owner, is selling over 135 unique roofs, walls, windows, doors, and patios, so be sure to stop by and take a look at what he has for sale!

This feature has already been receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback, and we are happy to announce that we’ll be adding even more House customization in a future patch as well. So if you have any suggestions or ideas for house exteriors you’d like to see, please let us know over on our Discord!

Note: The house customization is only available for your Sun Haven house, and will not affect your Nel’Vari Tree House or Withergate Apartment.

We are excited to announce 4 new DLC packs will be available on Steam very soon, including a FREE Snaccoon Costume DLC! (Yes, that’s right, it’s free!)

These packs are quite a bit larger than the ones we released last patch, so buckle your seatbelts, or should I say, raise the sails for these new packs! Let’s take a look:

contains over 30 items, including a furniture set, 7 new outfits, and 1 mount. This Beach-Themed pack will be sure to make you ready for summer with clothes perfect for the hot weather! You can, mermaid-ify your farm, ride on the back of a manatee, and enjoy the season with this DLC.

Today we’re excited to share an update on the release date for Sun Haven Patch 1.2: Romance and Barns Update!

As of earlier this week, Patch 1.2 is on the Public Beta Environment (PBE)! If you’re interested in a sneak peek and helping us test our new patch, be sure to join our Discord! We are working toward finalizing the patch for release this Friday, June 23rd.

Let’s take a look at some of the upcoming patch highlights!

A late night delivery! What could it be?

In the Live game, you can currently have four Tier 1 barns placed in Sun Haven. In this coming patch, you can now upgrade your barns all the way up to Tier 3! With each upgrade, you’ll gain additional interior space, and animal slots (and a sweet upgraded exterior look, of course.)

Additionally, with this patch, we’re introducing regional barns – you can now place 4 Elven Barns in Nel’Vari, and also own a Withergate Sewer Barn! Check it out in the GIF below.

Over the last couple of years, there’s been hundreds of passionate and thirsty player requests for us to make Wesley a romanceable character ever since we first released him. We’re stoked to finally be able to bring him out from his tradition-loving shell.

And don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten about our beloved original 15 romanceable characters! We’ve added unique beach outfits and beach portraits during the Summer BBQ Festival AND we’ve brought unique wedding outfits and wedding portraits to the Wedding Ceremony!

We heard your feedback and have seen your suggestions for more space for customization and item storage, and we can’t wait to show off our new farm buildings! You will now be able to craft a Shed from the construction table and place it anywhere on your farm. These Sheds all have customizable interiors and exteriors.

Perfect for making shops, stores, and storage spaces!


With these building skins all craftable in game, you can make your Shed fit right into your farm. We’ve included some popular themes like an Ice Cream Parlor, a Library, a Cozy Beach Cabana, and one of our favorites: a Cafe! There are so many to choose from, and we can’t wait to see all of your themed farm decorations!


Not only are Sheds customizable, but now your Sun Haven Houses are too! You can now choose between over 135 unique roofs, walls, windows, doors, and patios for thousands of combinations. These customization items will be available at a brand new House Customization Store found by the Cafe in upper Sun Haven.

We hope you’ve all had a great week! We’ve been working on quite a few updates, improvements, and fixes that you’ve been asking for, and we’re excited to announce that the micropatch is finally here! Thank you so much for all of your feedback and suggestions, they really help us make Sun Haven even better! 🙂

We’ll also be patching Sun Haven again next month with Patch 1.2: Farming and Romanceable Characters Update!

The micropatch is now live on Steam, please make sure to relog to ensure you get the update! Here’s a list of the micropatch notes:

• Improved overall performance optimization that should help with memory usage and load time

To access your DLCs, just log in on any character (new, or old, or both!) and check your farm mailbox to pick up your new furry friends!
