cant get Lynn past 10 hearts

hi i have lynn at 10 hearts and i took her on 1 date, i read you need to take her on 3 dates but now everyday i talk to her she has nothing to say and her hearts are stuck at 10 so giving gifts does nothing. been trying for a couple of weeks in game with no success. any help plz?

You have to be in an actual 'relationship' with someone to get their hearts past 10. Click the heart next to their dialog box.

wow thankyou alot, now i can continue giving her beef stew. sorry to be a pain but i dont have a clue how food works in this game i have tried researching it but cant figure out how it works. do i eat anything i want or does it cancel the buff i get? thanks

If by buffs you mean the permanent stat gains from eating various foods, no. Those are permanent. Though you get diminishing returns and the amount you receive caps at eating 100 of a specific thing. Some things however, give temporary buffs, like for example, the Cake Pop. I do not believe those cancel out unless it is the same kind of buff, in which case the most recent food eaten overwrites whatever you had.

thankyou, is there a way of finding out what current buffs i have?, i have been looking everywhere and i cant see anything

temporary buffs are displayed as TINY icons above your hotkey bar on the bottom of the screen

This, for temporary buffs, for permanent ones, click the 'food' tab under stats in the in game menu/inventory.
