Can't Get Married?

I am dating a character, have 15 hearts, and there are no dialogue options further except for "Give Gift" and "Seeya". I don't know if we are supposed to go on a date, as I haven't received this quest at all yet. Could this be a bug? I've tried to give them the engagement ring, but it tells me we have to be dating, I have to be unmarried, and have gotten far enough into dialogue with them; all of which I qualify for except maybe the dialogue(if I have to do something in the date quest, which again, I haven't received)...

Keep talking to them until you have been on thier dates then propose to them.

I find I have to talk to someone every other day to keep the dialogue flowing. It took a while, but managed to marry a character in the end. If you have not dated yet, on the side of the dialogue box do you get a heart (where it will say Give Gift and Seeya), I was able to click this to ask to date them.

after reaching 15 hearts keep talking and give wedding ring every day

You have to ask to them to party and that's when the person will give you that hint of marriage.

I'm having this problem with Vivi. I really don't like her so I want to get this over with just to cross her off the achievements asap. I've had 15 hearts for over a gametime week, keep talking through any & all dialogue yet she still keeps yelling at me and throwing the ring back in my face! I'm so glad I don't have to do this kind of stuff IRL! 🙄😓😩🥲

Seeing as you can easily meet the requirements to marry an NPC in game in less than 90 days from first meeting them I think the IRL requires slightly more time, just a hunch.

On the dialogue window, look for a heart on the left. I haven't tried this because I haven't romanced anyone yet but on discord people were talking about the same thing and people said to click the heart on the left of the dialogue window.
