So I've read the manual, and even when combat mode hits, I've noooo idea how to do anything. And I ain't no spring chicken either. ;) Please help. :)

After scanning big planet, or gas giants can't see the anomalies(green dots). Looks like they are shadowed by the planet texture.

I like my pixels chunky and it looks like the game is using the 2xSAL gfx effect or something, can I turn it off?

I don't know why, but for some reason, after several launches with no issues, the game launches, then either hard-freezes after about ten seconds from entering the menu or, if not, crashes upon launching a new game, or loading a save. I'm trying to figure out the issue, reinstall didn't help, disabling steam overlay did nothing, fullscreen or windowed nothing helps....
