18+ content?

Vol. 1, 2 and 3 got an 18+ patch available as a dlc simultaneously at the late 2018, which means that for four years the only edition of vol. 1 available here was a censored one.

I have to say, i found out about this series only in the Dec. 2018, lucky enough heh.

So, i was to say that i, uh, have some reasonable concerns about when the 18+ dlc will be avialable on Steam, will it be from the start or we will have to wait for years.

18+ patch will not be available on Steam on release. And probably will never. Late 2018 was an exception because around that time Valve said they were not the taste police, so they let pretty much everything on their store. And if you look at the release time of every 18+ patch, you will see that almost all of them released October/November 2018.

But after some time, some people (mostly SJWs) started saying that Valve were OK with child exploitation because of how some characters looked like minors (lolis, in weeb terms). This got big so Valve went back on their own words and returned to being a taste police once again. But this time, it is was way stricter. And now, if a game (with sexual content) has a character that is even slightly resembles a minor (loli), it just outright gets banned. To prevent this, developers/publishers just remove those sexual scenes and provide additional restoration patches on external sites, whether free or paid.

So, golden times of Valve has passed long ago. And I'm pretty sure that it will never return. Just be on the lookout for external patch news on forums. You will most likely find what you are looking for.

The 18+ patches were for the prequels were removed for some countries, so its most likely the game will be All Age on Steam with a offsite patch (hopefully for free)
Neko Works already mentioned on twitter, that they fear that the sequel could be banned and its more safe to release the game without any patch on steam and avoid a possible ban for the title

And most likely for free, which is the reason why i want to see the offsite patch also as free. In that way we can still support NekoWorks without stealing any money from them (because not everyone has a creditcard)

I personally don't care if it's 18+ or not & by that I mean if there is no patch because they never put in any 18+ scenes to censor then I'm fine with that I like the NekoPara series story so I'm buying all volumes 18+ or not. Now of course if there is 18+ DLC/patch you better believe I'm downloading it & applying it to the game I hate censorship.

Personally I hope the 18+ DLC makes its way here along with volume 4, probably because I've gotten used to how the library is laid out and that I have one category for the Nekopara series, but if not I might just end up getting it on Fakku or something.

denpasoft always offers patches for the steam versions, like they did for vo.01 and vol.02 before patches were available on steam, so i think they will make it like back then.
full version full price on denpasoft and here like a few bucks cheaper with the patch for steam sold on denpa.....

but how things are going i even think they would put it full price here and just release the patch on denpa free of charge....who plays nekopara all ages anyway xD

I'm doubtful it will have it but there is always a small chance I guess. Love Cube (same publisher) for example I'm pretty sure came out after steam had reverted back to no more adult patches for most anime games and it came with the patch on steam.

No steam patch means no buy for me, don't really care anymore if incomplete series on steam. I'll consider games that offer it free off site if something I really want as long as I don't have to sign up/ make account for it. But it's a hell no if I have to buy the game here then buy the patch off site which is sadly how these games were originally and how it most likely will be again if not on steam.

This is why I don't even bother with the anime games on steam or at all anymore. There are some good non anime adult VN now on steam, no patches needed (and no mosaics for that matter).

Just give it like 2 days after the game comes out and someone will make a discussion or guide with a link to the patch like they always do xD

Dude, no. There are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of porn games still on Steam and plenty of games with censored releases that have adult patches. The patches never stopped, the only thing that stopped was the uncut versions going on Steam.

You can use those " creditcards " you can get at a store and even a debit card on most sites now :P
