Which DLC is better to get?
I was just looking at the expansions and I was wondering if anyone has got both, which do you think I should buy first?

Automating cooking, farming and collecting is pretty great. The first one should be relatively bug free too.

That’s like asking me which of my children I love more…. 😁

Eternity Island.

The Autocooker is really useful for bulk meal preparation.
Plus, WALL-E gets his girlfriend EVE.

I think Eternity Isle has the best crafting and helpful tools so far. Also has more resources to grind. So I would suggest it first too. The ancient machines are incredibly helpful.
Helps that Eternity Isle is complete too.

Rift in Time (Eternity Isle) is a complete DLC now. If you pick the new one, it will dribble out content over the next year. It is a lot more fun to do the content right away versus waiting a month for each new bit of puke to be deposited. I honestly would forget the story on the base game because the delays were just way too long as they dribbled it out in EA.

. . . you know, I bet you can't complete his questline without Rapunzel. So getting Storybook Vale before RiT could be problematic.

You can! You just get an extra Quest to reunite the two when you finished his Main Quest and have the first DLC (and Rapunzel at Level 10).

Ah, cool. I couldn't remember because I didn't pay that much attention to requirements when I did it. But yeah, now that you mention it, the reunion quest *was* after the rest. :)

I honestly don't ever use the automated cooker, or digging/watering tool. The vacuum is a game changer though.

I've got one field of 35 pumpkins being run by an auto-planter. And I use the cookers frequently, especially for Star Path duties. (I also obsessively used one for a month, and filled an entire large chest with Berry Salad. 6x8x50 = 2400 of them. I've got Berry Salad to eat until the game dies. :D)

Not having to plant or water is such a luxury. I find they make you cook so much for quests that I don't run out anyway, so I never really used it for anything I wanted, only bulk tasks. Vacuum is in the forest currently so I can grab 10 stacks of garlic since the current star path has murdered my supply.
