Hey Valley Villagers!

This week, we conclude the final chapter of our paid expansion pass, Disney Dreamlight Valley: The Storybook Vale, with Part 2: The Unwritten Realm! Return to The Vale to rescue some old pals and befriend a couple of characters from Disney’s Sleeping Beauty. Swipe your Royal Net at new evasive Snippets, solve new challenging puzzles and discover the forces behind all of this unrest!

This update will also include base game bug fixes for everyone!

The Storybook Vale – Part 2: The Unwritten Realm arrives on July 9th, 2025, for expansion pass owners. Check out the details below:

• Return to the Vale and descend into The Unwritten Realm, a void of swirling storybook pages – the place where stories go when they're forgotten and come from before they're written! Discover Maleficent and help her avoid being unwritten!

• Venture into the pages of a storybook to uncover Aurora in an enchanting Dream Style in addition to her regular look.

• Help Maleficent and Aurora settle into the Vale and complete their friendship questlines to unlock stunning new items and outfits inspired by their malevolent and benevolent ways.

• Equip your latest Royal Tool and harness the power of the Royal Net to catch new evasive Snippets – living embodiments of the Lorekeeper’s scattered pages.

• Use new and original Snippets to complete these new challenging Lorekeeper Tales - tapestries that tell the stories of classic Disney and Pixar films.

• Discover what Maleficent and Hades have hidden up their sleeves.

• Team up with new allies to put a stop, once and for all, to these villainous schemes and save the Vale.

• New special premium shop bundles sold in Moonstones inspired by Aurora and Maleficent will be available for ALL players!

• Fixed an issue in the "Teapot Falls Trial" where chairs could not be moved into their proper placement.

• Fixed an issue in the "Mistress of All Evil" quest where furniture could not be placed where needed.

• Fixed an issue where the player would not receive a reward for reaching max level with the Forgotten.

• Fixed an issue in the 'Healing House' quest where Mirabel won't go to Player's house

• Fixed an issue where holding the direction arrow while attempting to switch to diagonal mode prevents the mode from updating.

• Fixed an issue where NPCs may sit in the air near the Peter Pan House.

• Fixed an issue where closing a purchase prompt in the shop would scroll the menu up to a different section.

• Fixed an issue where NPC's with animations that interact with flowers would not have a cooldown.

• Fixed an issue in Photomode where the controller's focus shifts to the poses tab row instead of selecting the Sprint pose.

• Fixed an issue where some small vertical lines would appear in the Photomode menu.

• Fixed an issue where items cannot be marked as favorite or hidden via touchscreen when there is more than one item in the catalog.

Hey Valley Villagers!

Arrrr you ready to embark on your next Valley Adventure? Disney Dreamlight Valley’s latest free update, the Mysteries of Skull Rock, arrives today on all platforms.

Set sail to build friendships with two Villagers, dive into another seasonal Star Path, and uncover a bounty of upgrades for your Companions!

For those of you who have completed the main questline of the Disney Dreamlight Valley base game, the story continues with new quests with The Forgotten.

Freely roaming about your Valley, they have discovered a special feather that jogs their memories regarding Skull Rock. You'll need to help them think of the happiest things, and even gain a real name - all culminating in discovering a way into the iconic Dazzle Beach locale.

Once inside, you’ll uncover a massive cavern with a ship at its center. But, before you can find the treasures it holds, Puzzling Pixie Flames await, challenging you with manipulating lights and shadows to navigate your way around the cave.

After working together, you’ll be able to give The Forgotten a less (or more) edgy name and work through friendship quests with them, all with new rewards.

But, that’s not the only Villager to join your Valley in the Mysteries of Skull Rock update. From Disney’s Peter Pan, the boy who loves to fly – Peter, himself, joins you!

That said, you’ve done a little bit of growing up since last you played – and you’ll need to convince him you are the friend that he remembers, ie. not a pirate.

This may involve capturing a pesky shadow that doesn’t stay underfoot – but wins you a friend who arrives with his own house – er, hideout – and leads to Peter restarting the Valley’s ‘Dreamlight Lost Kids’!

Craving even more magic and adventure? Believe in the magic of wishful thinking and soar into the Adventures in Never Land Star Path! Catch fish on Dazzle Beach, find long-forgotten Memories, and spend time with the leader of the Lost Boys, Peter Pan! You'll be rewarded with swashbuckling styles, mystical mermaid cosmetics, unique pixie-inspired decor for your Valley, and more. 

Peter Pan and the Forgotten aren’t the only two arriving with friendship rewards!

Your companions will now feature their own leveling track, and even special abilities once equipped. Learn more about what each creature brings to your hangout experiences in our Patch Notes!

Grab your shovels and look out for where ‘X’ might mark a spot – the new event ‘Troves of Treasures’ arrives in July bringing nautical furniture designs perfect for a pirate ship.

The Summer Sizzle event returns in August – arriving with sweet treats, and new rewards.

• Gone are the days of receiving coins from picking up Memory Shards! Complete your Memories faster by ensuring you gain a Memory Shard from each orb you interact with.

• Path here, there, and everywhere with the introduction of Diagonal Pathing!

• Cross-Save arrives for PlayStation! Play your save on all supported devices with this much requested update.
