Black passion lily??

One of my task is to get the black passion lily for five people, and I have not been able to have it. Frosted heights literally has no other colors than red, and this has been going on for days. Is this a glitch?

Yes, this glitch has been happening to everyone.
But it’s visual only.

Pick all the lilies you can and you will find that some of them are black.
You will also get all the other colors, regardless of the fact what you are looking at is red.

they only look red in the over world, pick them up and you will find the black ones.

Can confirm that under the red paint the flowers are as before. If you pick them up, just sell the ones you don't need. Pick them all up so they can respawn. Then just keep the black lilies.

then you just over looked it. it is there just look around for any you missed.

There should be some of each. The black lily seems to be the rarest.

Pick them all up and even if you didn't get all the colors for some reason, there should be some the next day.

Gather all the flowers then drop the wrong colours in a corner, then you should only have to find the 2 black ones that spawn.

Honestly, I thought I was the only one who had this issue, there are so many red ones spawning, but I always keep my flowers so if I need any for quests I have them ready in chests. I do the same with everything so I can do quests and cooking easier. I farm pumpkins for money rather than selling resources and food, I get 600k every 4 hours when on the game just for farming 400 pumpkins with a level 10 gardening villager.

If it helps, everyday I pick up everything from the different areas of the village, it helps other things spawn in, I would personally pick up all the red ones and sticks etc and wait for black ones to spawn it, it will spawn.

I tried your theory. It works.

I picked up every lily in the frozen biome. Then I stood in a corner. Then I dropped each except the black lilies.

Then I hit F for furniture mode. I used furniture mode to move each of the dropped flowers into lines in the corner. So it's nice and neat. So I know where to avoid next time.

When I went back more than a full day later, there were only two scattered, random lilies. Both were a black lily.

I will leave out the other ones in the corner, and hopefully, I can pick up 2 more black lily daily, until there are 20, so I can complete the balloon arch for the Star Path Duties.

This! Just pick up everything so new stuff can spawn!

When there's only 2 that need to respawn, you can get them several times a day. If you have the IRL time, of course.

Finally got all of the black lilies. Made the balloon arch. Got the remaining dreamlight or whatever from the Star Path. Finished. Hooray. Thanks for all the tips.

I'm leaving the other flowers as they are so I can build up a resource of black lilies again. Currently have only one.
