Mirabels quest 'healing the house' not working

my healing the house quest for mirabel isnt working, ive done everything and up to where she is meant to follow me to my house but she wont. i have tried moving her house and mine, restarting the game, asking her to hang out and then going to my house and still nothing. Has this happened to anyone else? does anyone know how to fix?

Do you have the Eternity Isle DLC installed?

I encountered a similar situatiion where I was told to place an object "near my house" and because the DLC was installed, the game meant the house in Eternity Isle, not the house in the Valley.

I know it's been 8ish months since this was made, but thank yall!!! I just dealing with this exact thing but for me I had to go to the storybook for it to work. Either way thank you again 🙏
