Eat 5-star meals (star path task)
It's so nice that this task popped up right after I'd finished eating the Aurora's Cakes that I'd made for "Cook 5-star meals".

/sigh

(So what's everyone's usual cooked food that you eat for a gold stamina bar? I've been making 3-star Mochas. Easy to get all the ingredients and gives good energy)

Mocha was what I landed on, reasonable price and availability of ingredients and gives you like three quarters of a bar.

The ranch salad is pretty cheap for smashing 5 star stuff, that's what I was feeding the ravens anyway.

Personally I carry a stack of Arendellian Pickled Herring:
Because: 1. ingredients are easy to come by : lemons free from forest/swamp, onions grown/but I usually get plenty from Wall-e's garden, garlic pick in forest, any herb but "autofill" always chooses Oregano (plaza) and Herring - I get tons and tons of from Moana's boat. So basically everyday when I walk around I forage Oragano, lemons, and garlic - collect from wall-e/moana and can make dozens with almost no work - before an event I plant 100 onions to top up Wall-e's garden amount.
2, It's at top of recipes so no scroll searching (this is a biggie time save to me)
3. Has over 2k energy
4. Crows love em max hearts
5. Autofill always picks same herb so they stack
6. If you are get any "cook any# star meal" daily dreamlight duty cook one of these as 5 star covers any lower star task.

I only make other recipes for restaurant or cook specific item dreamlight duty.

Yeah, I settled on the APH, too. It was mostly because I'm too lazy to scroll a lot of find something else, but the easy availability of the ingredients was a major bonus.

Smoked Peanuts and Anglerfish
- Two ingredients (Peanuts and Anglerfish)
- ~4k energy

Berry Salad (for when Anglerfish supply is low)
- Three Ingredients (Blueberries, Raspberries, and Gooseberries)
- 2.2k energy

I always keep at least one full stack of berry salad in inventory for just energy purposes. I have relocated the bushes to outside the house, and already filled large chests with all three ingredients, so it is the cheapest for me. Cost of coal, basically, which is a given with any meal.

Behind the Ratatouille door in the castle, you can get all the ingredients for ratatouille for free in bulk and cook them without charcoal. Very quick duty where the main cost is the time for the Remy cooking animation.

I use berry salad, but I make it with 5 gooseberries (free) and it fills the regular bar and at least half of the gold bar when you start with no energy. Quick, easy, and free to replenish. I always carry a supply of them with me.

But anything you cook there cannot be carried out

I use Soufflé.

I do Large Seafood Platter. All the shellfish are easy to find on the beach and to get from blue pools and the lemons grow plenty on the fruit trees. Each of the combinations yields different energy levels. Usually 4 of the shells gives a "low" energy boost, so you can eat more than one at time.

I actually have been using them for feeding the crows in the Forgotten Lands prior to this.

I think the point is to pass this potentially-expensive section of the star path without spending a ton of money. It was the last thing left for me, and I ended up just eating 3 meals when I didn't need the energy just to get it over with. I would have loved the above tip at that point.

they said for a gold stamina bar. They asking what you make for energy

Eh, alright, I missed that question. I still think that answer is useful for people trying to get through the star path cheaply, though. ;)
