Thank you for replying! I just unlocked the star path, i don't have any patience but sometimes feel the rewards aren't worth spending 2,200 moonstones to unlock all the tasks :)
If there is even a single item you like in the star path, value wise it is worth it(assuming you actually finish it). If you don't like anything in it, or are lazy and not going to finish it, then that is a different matter.
In my personal opinion, the premium track has the best prizes, so if you aren't claiming the premium prizes, you may as well not participate in the Star Path.
I tried not buying the premium track last time, and it was not as fun. Toward the end, I went ahead and paid the moonstones so I could claim the premium items offered.
I am not a premium shop shopper, but I guess it might make sense to not buy the premium track, and lose 400 moonstones net, if you had your eye on something in the shop. You will gain some moonstones (but some are behind the premium track paywall).
If you were close to the amount you needed for the item and did not want to spend real new dollars it might work out combined with the blue chests.
