worth buying?
I know i've asked this before but will ask again. I played animal crossing before but l've always been interested in this game since launch. I tried it on switch but was too laggy and apparently the pc version helps you get into the game more?

would Dreamlight Valley – Enchanted Edition be the best version to get? also where is the best place to learn the game? such as youtube channels you recommend and so forth.

Also does this get boring? I haven't really been gaming lately as haven't found a good game yet

It's best on PC.

If you want the base game and both DLC's, then yes, Enchanted Edition is best. You could always wait for a sale but the price doesn't go down very much as far as I'm aware.

There are lots of online gamers who are very helpful. The ones I like the most are: Probably Senpai, MrStarInSky, Serroh, Jamie Games, and Tannie Games.

If you've completed everything in the game, then yes, it does get boring between updates. Many stop playing between updates but I grind materials, check the shop, do dreamsnaps and collect my daily moonstone chest.

I personally enjoy this game very much but that all depends on the individual. I like games like Animal Crossing, Stardew Valley and My Time At Portia. If that appeals to you, then it's likely that you'll enjoy this game especially if you're a Disney fan.

Just be aware, that many quality of life changes are still being implemented and there are always glitches happening. Good luck on your decision.

I think it's better then Animal Crossing, you aren't required to pay back loan installments to Tom Crook.

Jamie Games is the one I recommend to watch.
But if you need help directly, we are ready to answer questions.

I played on both PC and Switch, the game performance is better on PC, so I do not recommend playing on console.

For a new player, there is a substantial amount of activities to play through, especially if both DLCs are purchased.
But when that content is completed, then there is nothing besides daily loot collecting.
Updates are fairly frequent though, it seems we get a new Villager often.

Thank you ,
I guess there’s always the refund button if I don’t like it . But then again maybe my switch experience made me have a hard time getting into the game.
I’ve heard of MrStarInSky as he pops up everywhere when I google DLV

Yh switch was laggy and made me think the game was like that . It’s a shame not that many people play this game but still seems really fun.

Im going to say absolutely. I play on steam but have it for steam and switch.
Ive been playing since the beginning and i had no experience with animal crossing, this game got me interested in it and now i play both.

-New QOL features are always being added and the community is very friendly and knowledgeable both on discord and here.

-The new dlcs added new features and tools so more things to do

-The starpath is a very fun battlepass system on ddlv and you always make back the currency you spent unlocking the pass by completing it which doesnt take long

-You never need to spend real life money on ddlv either. There is a premium shop, however, if you enter the weekly contests you make enough currency where you can buy everything in the store probably without spending any real money. You also get the currency from just buying the game.

-Its just fun in general being around the characters from my childhood

-There are funny moments in the story and just like animal crossing, the characters have bold personalities

Just to add, i think animal crossing is better on switch just for graphics alone, but animal crossing has become my favorite game to play on switch because its incredible all around. Although i have ddlv on switch i dont play it on there much unless im doing some kinda starpath task. DDLV on pc is incredible though, its really a game you can get lost in and spend hours just playing.

There is not much to learn tbh it is a simple game which explains most of it on it's self and you can see it is a half animal crossing clone. I would also not recommend watching any youtubers for gameplay, but for decoration ideas, since the game is meant to be played at your own pace, so don't let people dictate you the pace.

The switch version is very laggy and unbalanced.

The good thing of the game is that it already has a lot content so grabbing it now will make the money worth it. However it is a live service game so we don't know about future updates. But again, for now it is worth the money already.

It gets boring, so it's best to take some breaks. If you don't have anything to do then all you do is farming materials so it all depends on your playstyle. If you speed through it you can get bored super fast.

Well as someone who bought enchanted pack its def worth the price as the game get roadmap for the year. I'll not say much as generally my opinions will follow with previous comments but its worth to note that this chill game unlike Animal crossing will not punish you if you decide to take a break for be back at it months later.
