Even though it's owned by Disney, Star wars would feel weird. Bambi, Pocahontas, the fox and the hound and stuff like this would make more sense first.

Star wars requires a certain age to be seen as its pretty violent at some point. I guess dreamlight valley was more designed toward smaller kids. I like start wars very much but i don't think it's the place for it!

Star Wars as an event theme or item sets would be fine, the characters would likely be out of place, maybe the droids would be okay, but still. I'd like some Tron, but I realise the characters pretty much have no place in the Valley style.

I hope we get magic carpet since they added the framework for new glide styles.

The Star wars nerd in me really wants something. However, I also think it'd be a little out of place, but it would be cute to see Wall-E rolling around with BB8 or R2D2. Ooooh a porg or lothcat critter😍....ok I need to stop😅

I can't imagine how Cars characters could be practically implemented, due to their scale being much larger then the average character.
But if Gameloft think they can find a way, I'll take the addition.

Star Wars, well honestly, I just want R2D2.
I think if they add Star Wars content, to comply with the age rating for this game, they'll only be allowed to add the cute or cartoon characters, from shows children would be allowed to see/are familiar with.

From memory, I don't think Atlantis was a voting option, because I would have definitely voted for that!

Most replies in this thread believe the same as me so it's cool. It's not because we like something a lot that it necessarily fit the game. :P like the star wars was perfect in Fortnite. the lightsabers fights, gun and characters were so nice. Bring able to own a skin of Vader was super exciting. Sorry for those who don't play that kind of games but it's exactly where star wars universe can shine!

I am a simple furry dork. Seeing the buddy cops from Zootopia and the big cats from Jungle book walking around would put a smile on my face. The folks from Winnie the Pooh would fit in so well around here.
Unrelatedly, an area based on Alice in Wonderland would be delightful.

I think tiger bouncing around would look cool and piglet walking around worrying about the forgotten and night thorns would work, beast could be besties with eeyore. Not sure how well pooh would do considering the social media ban in china but after researching wiki looks like there's no ban on him with books there or amusement rides?

Might be a little risky to use pooh in social media posts for marketing in parts of asia.

A meme joke resulting in censoring a character, how insecure must they be?

I don't know which games, but Chinese based mmos will autoban a player's account permanently if you type Winnie the Pooh in text chat.
Malicious players exploited this by asking the question "Who is Tigger's friend?" and if someone unaware of the restriction answered.......

So imagine if WtP was added to the game, does this mean the game would not be able to be advertised, streamed AND discussed online in China?
Would the localization version have to remove him from the game?
How far does the restriction go?

tbh, I asked for other things too. Such as Winnie the Pooh and The Incredibles. I leaned on making everything for the original valley, but I wonder if the main game will become too bloated and hard to play on lower end computers. For PC users, there have been enough bugs and headaches already.
