How to tame fox

Hi, i try, now for a few days, to tame a fox, i used every time their favorite food. Can someone Tell me how long IT takes that i can use them as a pet? Every other pet that i tamed was there after the second Day.

i have tamed most the foxes, other than the one that only spawns at like 5 am, and remember the color will change daily and you have to feed the same fox atleast twice to tame them, so if you feed the blue one once you have to wait for the blue one to show up again before you can have a chance to tame them

Yes, i know that i must feed all colors for themselves. How long does it take in your World? But i can Feed multiple of them at the same time, right? 2 of them are there at a time so i can give both food right?

yes you can feed both. i got a couple in 2 a couple in like 3 or 4. but it has been a long time. had the game since week one of early access

It is possible, using the favorite food exclusively.

Taming time depends on the schedule, a fox that is there every day or second day can be unlocked faster then a fox that is there only once a week.

From memory. taming takes about 3 times.

As may have been noted already, the Red Fox is only available on Saturdays between 4 am and 8 am. It can take a lot of Saturdays to tame it unless you get lucky RNG. I think it took me about six months...but I rarely was ever awake for the time it is available.

Taming critters is not one of those tasks you can realistically speed run so just take your time with it. Maybe a repeat, but only the first feeding each day counts for each critter available that day. Feeding a critter more times in a day does not affect taming.
