Depending on what happens during the fall, severe injury may result.
It's best to just assume that going forward any game that has a synchronized clock mechanic, I.E: Animal Crossing, or Disney's Dreamlight Valley... Will have some form of defense against Time Traveling.
They claimed that "time travelling is mandatory in Animal Crossing" and that the Gameloft Devs should have accomodated for their needs in AC by removing the time travel restriction in Dreamlight Valley.
I found the arrogance of that demand ridiculous, Gameloft are not involved in AC, so it's not their concern and definitely not a case to make to modify their game to accomodate another company's game.
Is it somewhere where the entire playerbase community could have read it?
Me personally, if I wanted to make sure the issue was presented, I would have put it in a splash screen that appears ingame every 7 days.
As a side topic, are some Animal Crossing fans particularly stubborn?
I saw a video which demonstrated problematic behavior in the AC community.
There is no solution but to employ the patience they should have used in the first place.
Honestly, it's not that long, 3days is the longest timegate I have seen for a Friendship dependent mission.
Although technically, was 9 days, 3x3.
