Stone for Dazzle Beach

All the other biomes had missions right away on how to restore the gem/stone in the rock. Am I missing something? Or is this end game stuff? Cant figure out what mission to find the missing stone for dazzle beach.

There's a cave just beyond the ramp to Forest of Valor.
Look inside to meet an evil cephalomaid.

Then get a key from her, go past the empty pillar and use the key on a smaller pillar to open a locked door.
There are 3 challenges inside the cave behind the door, passing each of them will grant you access to the lowest level, where you can fish out the Orb (pun intended)

Don't harvest the plants from inside the cave until you are ready and don't use them for anything else except cooking the meal for the final challenge.

I think he might be referring to the one on the island where you find the raft to aerial.

Some of the puzzles are not very clear. Be aware you may have to try a few combinations to get the "right" ingredients in the right place. You can use your shovel to dig up and replant if needed- I know I did.

yep this is the one I am referring to. already unlocked Ursela
and not the cave with the 3 layers either. I'm referring to The pillar (that's the word) next to skull island or whatever

The mission doesn't activate until you put the missing Orb into the island pillar.
The Orb is in the Dark Castle, through the door on the right as soon as you enter.

Not really worth the effort of solving the resulting puzzle though, because nothing much happens.
Most likely, this is a prelude to a content update coming much later on, because nothing in the roadmap references this event.

I've been avoiding completing this mission until I know what it actually does before deciding if I should continue.

what is the dark castle? Or you just mean the castle (Didnt realize if that was the name). Ive been in there, where it was Mickey's old room or something. I dont remember an orb though

oh boy skull rock. we all are waiting for that one. dark castle is end of chapter 1. you can't do anything with that pillar yet and won't be able to. dark castle is major spoilers for a new player. please don't worry about the rock and pillar yet, even someone who has been playing since day 1 won't have that yet. I am curious but I try not to worry about it.

The Dark Castle is where the Forgotten lives.
You access it through the shadow portal:

Where the Forgotten is standing, use that miniportal.

I can't remember the rest, but if you look around the various doorways, the island orb is near one of them.

I can't remember the rest, but if you look around the various doorways, the island orb is near one of them.

this sounds further in the game than I am. Not sure when this occurs. I still have to finish Scar lvl 10, maybe after that

The Dark Castle is only accessible when the entire main story is finished.
If you have not gotten this far, then the Island Pillar can not be interacted with.

You will know when the end of the main story is near because dark rifts appear in the sky, on 3 houses and one cave..

I am at that part, I just havent gotten the sky ones to disappear yet, I think its scar is the only one left but I could be wrong. I got the other ones (micky, ursela etc)

The sky rifts only disappear when the final main story mission is resolved

Then after that, you should be able to search the Dark Castle for the Island Pillar Orb.
