I looked all over the OG map for hours and couldn't find any level 1 core. Randomly headed back to Eternity Isles and boom, found one. It looks like there isn't any rhyme or reason to where they're located, but they do seem to have gotten rarer after upgrading the hourglass

Hello,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
I'm sorry to hear that you encountered this problem.
The team is working on a fix for this issue with the quest ""The Ancient Door"", but unfortunately, it can take some time. They will aim to include it as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, please note that the rock that blocks the way can be cleared after upgrading the Hourglass to Level 1 and Crafting the ""Large Copper Rock Pickaxe Potion"" item in the Time Bending Station. This can be done without going through the quest ""Ancient Door"" but it will require some time to get the upgrade.
We appreciate your patience and understanding!
Please feel free to contact us again if you have any other questions.
Best regards,
Kay

After I upgraded my Hourglass Tool to Level 2, I am unable to find Level 1 Ancient Cores. When talking to others in the steam community, it seems like that others are having the same issue and is causing a lot of players to become stuck and frustrated. Please resolve this issue and also it would be nice to receive some level 1 ancient cores for all those individuals who have upgraded to the Level 2 Hourglass.
Most of them were found on Eternity Island i think.
My Hourglass is level 3.
Could just be RNG being it's usual difficult self.
2 tips:
1. Always take a timebending friend with you so you get a lot of duplicates and hope for double cores when they do pop.
2. I find I get more cores than usual in those white orb circles - however even if you have a timebender friend they never duplicate.
I need the L2 cores to make the other 2 intermediate machines to make the advanced - sheesh RNG always kicks me with something.
I assume the Farm device just gets larger, and the vacuum grabs more variety.
The farm device is nice for watering especially but I'd rather harvest by hand since I get double crops with buddy
I also used some of my ton of L3 cores to make cutie pet robot
The description made it sound more like it harvested them.
I want a watering machine, not a gatherer.
It does all chores - digs holes (costs orb), plants seeds (costs orbs), waters free and continuous, then when the plants are done it harvests on command free as well (you only get the base number of plants no crits or friend bonus.
I had 60 onion seeds in my inventory (has to be in your inventory for a new seed) but I planted 15 and dumped the others in a chest nearby and next planting it repeated the same seeds (unless I asked it to do a different seed in inventory)
The basic machine does 15 plants in a square near it. I assume the int. and adv. ones just do bigger plots as all 4 planting chores are done already. (unless there is some bonus don't know yet)
I agree watering was my most hated chore so Yeah Ancient machine :D
Intermediate does 24 spots (5x5, with one taken up by the machine). Presumably Advanced will be 6x6, 35 spots.

I am intending to make as many as possible to water my crops automatically.
It looks like you can put four in a circle shape when you have that many.
Yeah it's just RNG, today I got 4 L1, 6 L2 and 3 L3 I immediately used the L2 to build Intermed Vac and 2 intermed Farm machines. I then made them into Advanced.
I have 1 adv cooker and after a couple of days got stacks of good 5 star meals :D so 1 is enough really.
I have 1 Adv Vac and um ... it feels totally useless - doesn't even collect all the flowers in a single area and I just move it around but seems just as easy to pick stuff while passing by doing time searches.
I have 2 Adv Farm and plan to make 4, for full circle and really don't see needing more - I have so many crops from before I mainly plant pumpkins for money and always pick by hand for the double amt with friend.
My Suggestion or Ideas to fix the core frustration:
It would be nice they would make a new recipe so you could combine say two L1 to get one L2, or two L2 to get a L3 and maybe a reverse split a L2 to get 2 L1,... this way you could use the cores you don't need to make ones you do.
In storage now I have like 16 L1 and 11 L3, but used up all the L2 :(
Another suggestion would be if say a recipe called for L1 you could use a L2 or L3 instead (that is any level equal to or higher than the one the recipe calls for)
