Character not in their house

Anyone else have that issue? That sometimes it says on the map that the character is in their house but then when I enter there is no one there. Is it a bug or is it just that the character is having a break?

go in and come back out, they're usually right at the door outside when this happens.

Doesn't work, the map says that they are inside. But eventually I find them somewhere else.

Help! Every time it says Anna is in her house she’s not, and since she shares it with Kristoff she’s not there when I come out. Where and how can I find her?

Check your hidden villager filters.
If Anna is disabled, she won't be present in the valley.

This happens a lot to me. The map says they're in their house, I go in there and they are not there. Sometimes they are right outside when I exit but often they have also completely disappeared from the map after exiting their house again
