V8 Decorations and Tapestry Piece loot generation rate

Even given all the Timebending I have done, I did not find either of these pieces.
I need 10 of each.

Is their generation rate very low or non-existent?

I cant drop any of the DLC stuff. I can only split and when I do, I can no longer select it. Pretty sure it's glitched. Let's try again later because I want to give you your V8 pieces back. It isn't fair for me to keep them.

Or do u want to come back into my valley and try again?

It's okay to keep them, as I said, I have plenty and won't miss 10.
It would be nice if someone can use them instead of just sitting in storage,

But I think we should have words to Gameloft about making this right, as they goofed, not us.

Thanks but I feel terrible that I can't give you those tapestry pieces. I'll definitely write in a help ticket because this is a big problem.

Still the same as before.

It might be a version mismatch, as I have the DLC on Switch.
But that did not stop me giving you the items, so maybe it only happens to the player if they don't have the DLC on Steam/PC.

Crossplay goof right there!

And found another bug, I could not leave the shop until you did, because the interaction prompt was missing.

Ugh, this is frustrating. Gameloft really needs to patch a bunch of problems with this DLC. I'm sorry I can't give you the pieces. If you want to try again tomorrow, just let me know. I will save the pieces for you until we can make this work. Thank you very much for the V8 pieces but I won't use them until we're able to trade fairly.

I did get a Red Rose and finished my plant colection, so at least I got something achieved.
Odd that flowers can be interacted with, but nothing else.

As I suspect, it's a crossplay mismatch error and we could not have known about that before we tried.
If Gameloft patch that error, then we can try to trade again.

At least this was a learning experience, only trade my DLC items on Switch and see if that makes a difference.

You could have taken all the roses if you wanted. Everything I left out was free to take. If you want them, I'll open the connection again.

Sorry about this error. I'll be sure to only trade with PC users too because now I'm afraid of this happening again. It's a terrible glitch.

I'll go online and see if I can find anything informative about this problem. Maybe I can find a solution. Like I said before, I will keep your tapestry pieces safe and hopefully you can collect them another time.

I have submitted the ticket to Gameloft citing this thread and including a screenshot of the failed acquisition/trade.
