palia is not reasonable for the price of items and the coin bundles with real money
Which it is not, I saw one Palia gameplay video and appreciated Dreamlight Valley all the more after I watched.
I have seen this before though, an obsessive belief "there can only be one game" and so, the fans of that game try to make players of the rival game abandon this game to play their game.
Essentially a recruiting drive in the competion's home turf.
I like having a choice on if and when I buy the expansion. I can evaluate what I get for my money and even wait for a sale if I am not impressed. Being an EA game, I was not surprised there would be changes so not sure I was banking on the "promises" like OP.
At least in my experience, buying the base game, Gameloft has been very generous and if my experience is them being "greedy", I will have an extra helping of that if they don't mind.
Game development has to make a profit, or they don't stay in business long. I am glad they decided to go with a more predictable business model.
