I would really like to be able to sell my furniture/clothing items. Even if its a 50% cut i want to get rid of it somehow..

I would like to sell unwanted items too, just to get rid of them from my inventory.

Not implemented yet, but they don´t take space in your inventory anyway.

Best to think of them as blueprints and the numbers associated just tell you how many you can place without gathering more mats. We will have to wait, but there may be some sort of simple trading mechanic when MP hits.

It might help deal with the giant pile of stuff if they added some better sorting functions (why why why is the default "the order you obtained them" rather than alphabetical, or collected by type, or. . .).
And maybe a "favorite" checkbox. So you can put the stuff you like up to the top of the list.

(if you ever want to participate in the Dreamsnaps stuff, it'd be good to keep all the things you've collected, so you have things that match required colors/tags/etc.)

Yes, it is true they don't take space in your inventory, but on a list of items, they do take up space.
I have to filter items far too much for my liking due to the overload of items/costumes I do not want or need.

But on a technical level, I think it does take up memory space.
I don't remember where I saw it, but I read a note stating each item obtained adds to the game's memory demands, even if not placed or used, the game still has to record ownership of the item and how many are owned.
I think that was followed by a warning not to buy too much of any one item to avoid overtaxing the memory of the game.

Never heard of that, it´s the limit of objects placed in the valley

The UI needs major work- on pretty much every inventory or recipe list. That is one of the reasons my house is still empty and I don't really mess with the outside much either. It is just too painful to deal with how things worked. It doesn't even remember your place so you have to scroll to the item each time.
