swimming pool question

For anyone who's crafted the swimming pool, does it actually work as a pool (either for the characters or my avatar)? The other swimming spots that I bought from Scrooge or found in the game do not. Before I use up a big chunk of my stone supply, I'd like to know if it's any sort of functional or simply decorative? Thanks!

I'm almost certain it doesn't actually work and it's decorative only.

i will say they may make them functional later but as of now decorative. would be cool if they worked though

Definitely pretty but nonfunctional.... does not stop me from trying to get into it on occasion just in case 🤣

While decorative only I feel it's my best build to date. You can see the water hitting light and even better in the dark. Well worth you time and effort.
