I'm sure y'all have all discovered by now that Nexus has mod support for the game, but just in case I thought I'd post a reply for anyone looking for the answer to this question. Here's the link to the Nexus Mods for the Disney Dreamilight Valley game:

I hope this helps at least one person (((hugs))) from everyone's Gamer-Mom, Mom2Gamer
You can only do stuff like modify the time shop refreshes, edit numerical values when it comes to picking up items, etc.
Just very slight QoL improvements and... well, mostly cheats.
Nothing that could help you with Moonstones though since that is live service based.
And therefore, if a modded game tries to interact with a non-modded game, there will be a compatibility conflict and someone's game is crashing.
Then there is the liability arising from a player adding inappropriate mods, especially in a game that could potentially involve child age players.
I think consoles specifically forbid modding, as this invalidates the maintainence conditions.
I.E: a customer complaining to the company about a broken console because they added unauthorized software coding.
So, in conclusion, it is best for the company to play it safe and prevent mods from being used.
I imagine one such penalty might be the revokation of live service access.
Maybe even account banning if the infraction was a serious enough incident.
The newer Disney franchises have a lot more offensive content then the classics......
Do you have to use them offline or online is fine ?
