If they turn her outfit around in her gameplay then colour me surprised but it's more logical for her to keep this air of grace from here-on out and scrap the fetish Gear design. It's always been stupid and cringe.
Sexy Dizzy was always a little weird to me. Her personality in the games and lore doesn't exactly scream "sexually available." Her innocence (particularly in her battle animations) was part of her charm and made her stand apart.
I like how the new design leans both into the innocence and a more matron-y look that suits her place in the story. After all, it's not like Guilty Gear then or now are lacking for sexy women.
Coomers are gonna coom, anime fans are not known for liking and understanding great designs. GG does have them but when it comes to quite a few females it is no wonder why horrible artstyles the likes of Xenoblade 2 and that one Atelier game are wildly popular despite having poor overdesigned weeb slop. I can say plenty why I never liked I-No's design either where I think Strive's rendition is the perfect balance in which I can take the character seriously.
She fought in battle-panties
I don't think anyone took her original design seriously
I swear I'm not making these comments to start fights . . .
I-No is hotter with the shirt (or maybe more generally the Strive design is hotter).
