Completing "Pressurize the Stasis Array" quest
Hi. Maybe I'm a dummy but I'm stuck on this one. As far as I can tell, I have the area the stasis array is in completely floored and walled in save for some doors, but the quest isn't succeeding, so I'm guessing I need to do something else beyond this.

I notice when I bring up the "Airtightness" panel, the enclosed area is still red, though surrounded by green walls… but if I'm understanding the documentation in the codex correctly, that's normal. Am I wrong? If so, what do I need to do to turn those green?

If you hover the task in the Quest UI, there will be a tooltip with some details. You have to fix any damage to floors and walls, have a closed door, and close all vents. In current build vents must be closed even if they lead to another airtight room, but I will fix that in today's update.

repairing the floors and walls got me too. i started over 2 times before i found it. i 'just now' fell upon the step by step process by opening quests and hovering somewhere. i would say the steps need to be stated up front, not hidden by a hover.

Yeah, probably an open vent. Happened to me too. I had to power the vent and then close it to complete this mission.

Why I can do this quest in one try? Because I'm paranoid to close all gaps (including freaking vents), I know folks need their oxygen and nitrogen, and heating. Not that much different from Space Haven. If the dev really crossover that, I will see how functional the idea is.

At least in the tutorial, this needs improving. The issue is a floor tile under the dissasembler in the room you can't reach unless you remove it, and a piece of wall behind it (same issue).

So this is kinda annoying... The walls say they are 100% air tight, and floors come up as 5% and shows as red, because the codex says they are only 5% airtight to the floor next to them...But that's not really important, is it airtight from the vacuum of space is the important thing. I've been playing for a few hours and just found where it says this is normal in the codex. Usually 5% and red is a really bad thing, I'd suggest that if everything is normal it should show 100% and green.

I think I'm a moron because I'm about to give up on this game over this. Got everything repaired and a wall around the stasis array and vents are closed. I also can't build walls on certain parts of the floor even though it's entirely undamaged, so I need to then make another floor on top of the floor for it to work. I just wish I understood why.

Tutorial started off great then just dipped.

I had the same frustration; turns out a solar panel on the floor in the enclosed space was not considered a floor element. After replacing it with a floor element: room is pressure tight.

If you submit a bug report it will contain a copy of your game and then Spajus can have a look and see what exactly the problem is. It will no doubt be something very small you've overlooked.

I have notices one occasion where an open vent across a t intersection of walls acted as a leak point in a room. If you look at the O2 settings you can often see exactly where the leaks are occurring once the room has enough oxygen to see the leakage as red O2 levels where the leaks are.

Solar panel's leak. I had to replace a solar panel with a floor tile to finish this quest apart from what was suggested above. Something to highlight what is causing room to be not be pressurized would be nice. Maybe mark them red in a air tightness overlay?

You can relocate the solar panel somewhere else (definitely don't build something over it, that's a huge loss of free early game power), and you can use the sections overlay to see if the room is still exposed to space. There's also the airtightness overlay as well you can use.

Air-tightness just showed as if everything was good I think similar to OP's description, if I'm not mistaken; would be good if game made it more clear, it is not difficult once you get the hang of it, but makes the tutorial or first game frustrating if you can't easily tell.

About waste of replacing, it doesn't matter for the purpose of OP's question as far as I can tell; but yeah good to know :) Posted this in case someone else has trouble and figure out Solar Panel's might be the problem as it was not mentioned before.
