I've played the game till day 45, beat all the bosses, and spent some time checking out stuff I didn't use or need. Although I do thoroughly enjoy this game I feel it has so much room for improvement and balancing I do not believe it was ready to leave early access at the time of this post....

Here are some of the things that I think are sucking the fun out of the game: 1. The characters move too slow; maybe give a 20% speed boost on crafting shoes. 2. Item durability is pathetic; you are better off crafting a pick, for ore, and scavenging far and wide for rocks, sticks, logs, and ice; I would rather have break chance based on material than deal with durability. 3. you do not need weapons to deal with raids; just build a 2 block diagonal wall, group the raid, go nose to nose (they won't attack y...

First off, few survival games get the 'from spawning in to having t1 gear' step right, and I feel like this one almost does. Its a little grindy but not overly so however the major thing holding it back is the difficulty of the (what I assume are) basic enemies. My progression is gated: Which is fine that's the point to progressively get stronger, but enemy difficulty is NOT gated.
