When in-game press: Z E F C K L Z E F C K L

Noise will happen if you entered it correctly
Now press END on keyboard to open debug menu :)
(INSERT should add some test stuff to inventory too, maybe keep away from that)

I think this unlocks some other stuff too but haven't looked into it yet.

Great game btw devs, enjoying it so far. (you should have used the real konami code though :P)
(also if any devs are reading this, I noticed one small bug: Bertran Wildberger's diary shows up as DUMMY in the inventory for some reason)

it's not a room, when you do the input that OP gives, you'll hear like an animal sound, then when you press the "end" key ( the keys above the arrow keys) a drop down appears in the top left.

Wow, thanks! This way I can cheat some tapes into my inventory. Does this have side effects like losing achievements or affecting the game world?

i havent tested that, as the only achieves i have left are 2 endings and the diaries. but like with how the teleport system works on the RE remakes, you may fall through the map, so be careful with that.

Has anyone tried this code with the PS5 version of the game? From what I read, the PS5 has keyboard and mouse support, but might not in game.

Please, to all Debug menu Noob's, BE VERY CAREFUL. This can be immensly useful or it can break your game into unrecoverable state. If you do not know what things are or how they effect game internals, don't touch them.

The main reason i suggested using this is for emergency saves during a glitch that locks your backout key from functions and I had to force exit the game over and over and over as it happened through my play (it is caused by ALT TABBING out of the game in full screen), so I'd use Debug mode to save and move through the game.

I found it very useful. Now I can play my allotted time, then back up to a recorder and save without wasting a save I didn't want to waste. Even with getting the tapes you still have to find a recorder to save, so it's not a complete cheat.... unless you hit that save button on the debug menu. I didn't do that, so I don't know what that does. I just got a few extra tapes.

If you hit "save" on the debug menu, it "state saves" your location in game (as though there was a tape recorder in the room your in, whether or not there is one). I've used it multiple times so far without issue. Normally I run back to an actual tape recorder, but if your in a rush and need to get back to real life quickly, it's great.
I had originally purchased the physical PS5 version at launch but it has remained sealed after reading all these complaints about the save system. I bought the Steam version yesterday just for this feature.

Can someone confirm this works ? and will not be broken. I too want to play in sets of periods when I want, and not be pushed down with limited saves.

This fixed my no save run. Got to the end and accidentally pressed B instead of A to pick up the full gas can and it literally disappeared. I left the room and came back and the can was back on the box where it should be but when I examined it the game just said "Nothing else to do here."
