"If they learned more, they´d rank up" Actually you are right. It is actually truth in everything in life. But I dont know what your issue is. Should it be like if you learn less and forget what you´ve learned, then you should actually rank up or what?
And fighting games have always been this, as far as I can tell, unless you're going as far back as the early-mid 90s when none of these concepts were yet codified.
Dont even get me ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ started on third strike yun
Only modern one that springs to my mind is Samurai Shodown. If we have to go back to the early/mid 90s to find examples, then it's reasonable to say that SF6 is not uniquely responsible for being a game with guessing in it, as all modern fighting games do that.
Wow. Less knowledgeable players will lose to more knowledgeable players?
You're right, that's just like a casino.
Honestly watching many pro matches end in a throw loop is literally indication of abusing the system and not actual skill, im sorry i can't agree with you. Frame trapping idk how to feel about it because on one end if you burn out, thats on you.... on the other end should somone simply lose because of burn out? Im not the one to decide that, ill let a pro decide that one.
There is alot of unga bunga play in this game and im actually pretty certain if i played an older variant of sf...... my skills would mean nothing in those games. I wish there were more combos outside drive rush that did make neutral more important overall. Yes there are answers to most of what hes complaining about, but the throw loops i can't agree with you because the pros struggle with it too with money on the line.
To be honest everyone has a ceiling that they will hit otherwise we would all be pros.
Mai i'm going to tell you as a playable character obviously from a business choice was a good choice. Her design and how easy they made her play = bad choice, has to be maybe the easiest character in the game by far.
People who simply say having knowledge will rank you up is just blatantly lying to you. You need both and knowledege pretty much implies skill because you still have to be able to use said knowledge to your advantage. Some people think an average person going through the ranks will hit masters by just sweeping/jabbing/ .... its just not gonna happen.
Throw loops need to go.
