Any recommends for a 6-button gamepad?
I really don't want to buy a fight stick, for multiple reasons. My buddy offered to give me one, actually, but my room is already crowded and I don't have room for it, especially just to play one game. I'm playing modern in large part because I can't stand doing normals on triggers. I've looked around for a FG controller with 6 face buttons, and found a few, but they all look kinda weak. Wondering if anyone has recommendations for a PC compatible fight pad.

PS4 or Xbox variant of the PowerA Fusion fightpad. I love mine.

That's a 4-button controller, no? Same for Victrix ProCon that Swansonhart recommended. I'm aware of the OCTA 6-button pad but it gets decidedly mixed reviews.

It has a module that you can put it. As far as I understand, it's included with the main package (not an addon you need to buy later).

No, 6 face buttons and 4 unique shoulder buttons (important for SF6 if you play classic imo)

I use the hori Octa and think it's great, the dpad was stiff at first but loosened up and feels great now.

My Hori Fighting Commander is still holding strong after many years and is my preferred 6 face button pad.

Try out the Hori Fighting Commander. The only complaint I have with it in SF6 is that without the right stick you can't rotate the camera in World Tour without some wierd button presses. Otherwise, it's a pretty good pad.

In my experience, the Razer Raion is an excellent controller so that's an option as well. The clicky D-Pad, while loud, feels very responsive and accurate. The buttons feel great too. Top players like Snake Eyez uses it as well. It is a bit pricey, and it can be a pain to find one that has the pivot if you don't want to buy it new, but otherwise a fantastic option imo.

I've heard good things about the Victrix Pro BFG. Otherwise the Hori Fighting Commander is a good budget option.

Before you get one consider if you still have enough buttons left over for macros. SFV added Vshift at a later point in its lifespan and it's not impossible that SF6 will have something similar. Pressing something like HP+MK is a ♥♥♥♥♥ with a thumb.

Also don't forget about L3 and R3. Very useful in training mode.
Ive got the Victrix Pro BFG. its really comfortable and has a premium build quality. I especially like the clicky mechanical buttons. There are also catches that limit the travel distance of the triggers which essentially turns them into buttons which is great for fighting games. Best bit for me though are the back paddles which you can assign macros to. They are a god send for me to be able to do throw/DI/parry consistently on reaction.

There customer service is also top tier. All in all, 10/10

You should get this one.

It's inexpensive and has a great DPad. Even as just a backup it's nice to have. You can pay more but I don't think you'll top the DPAD on the M30.

Only drawback is it had 2 shoulder buttons but that's IMO a small issue.

From my minimal experience playing on pad, the 4 face button and 2 shoulder button layout is actually superior to the 6 face button layout. The thumb has to cover too many buttons. Unless you are playing claw style.
