So I'm not terribly sympathetic that you weren't able to do that!
The OP was deliberately trying to abuse Steam's refund policy to get something for free, then moaned about it - on Steam - that he wasn't able to do it.
Library's sell you books but you get a refund when you bring it back. Because so many people did this in a library they started cutting out the middle man, ie they said you didnt have to pay as long as you bring it back.
That's what i wanted to do here. Steam miss leads me because despite it saying Library at the top it doesnt actually work like a library should.
Look, I hope you enjoyed the book and think it was worth the few pounds/dollars you paid for it. Now you own it, you can always read it again at some point!
Now, three cheers for capitalism! Hip hip hurrah! Spit in the face of commie libraries and their socialist ways!
Honestly, reading and refunding is unfair. I mean, you enjoyed the content, right? Otherwise you could have stopped after 10 min. So, be fair and pay for what you consumed. People spend time and resources to bring you this.
I agree with one person above that calls this stealing. Shame on you.
