It's not going to happen. They'd have to reverse engineer and sync the game for that to work which is time and energy that they probably don't have. Maybe if the game sells well, they *could* patch it, but I don't think it'll happen.

Its 2021 so one can savely assume that creating a networked coop game is kinda standard tech. No one has to invent "the wheel" here. I personally hate split-screen coop.

I had been planing to coop play this with my daughter but the split-screen coop only is reason to not buy this game.

Just in case people aren't aware, remote play is possible. Only one person needs to own the game on steam, and you don't even need to be friends on steam to play.

Are you saying you don't know how to activate it? Very hostile way to do so.

Press shift tab (like every single game mentions on launch) and your friend lists will say "Share a link with anyone and they can join your game using remote play together"
