Phone opens with Left analog stick (GOG)

Every time i move the left analog stick the phone pops up, and the stick navigates the phone menu, while also moving my character. dpad works as intended, but i cant move without the phone up. controller is fine using steam, control panel and xbox accessories (is xbone controller), other games are not mixing the two. How do I fix this, and has anyone else had this happen?

No experience with GOG and others seem to be playing it over there fine. Are you entirely certain other games there are not mixing the two rather that mixing just isn't an issue for other games? I would expect something in your setup must be making your controller behave that way.

Since it works through steam, a quick solution could be adding your GOG version as a non steam game and playing it that way.

Are you on Steam Deck? I'm using the GoG version through Heroic Games Launcher on the Steam Deck and I'm not having any issues.

Heroic has a feature to add games through it to Steam, and it also supports GoG Cloud Saves.

So I have found if i close steam (thru task manager) then the problem goes away. still dont know what causes it or why closing steam fixes it. steam games work fine with controller. try that friend
