How to make the game display on a second monitor?
I can drag it to another monitor in window mode, but I want to do borderless or fullscreen. If I try either of those it just moves it back to the main monitor.

You can use Special K for this without adjusting primary monitor.

It has a drop-down Display menu that lets you move the game to any monitor you want, and it will keep it there the next time you launch it too.

Windows has built in hotkeys (windows + shift + arrow key) to move things from one screen to another but I'm not certain they work in Ys (my windows + space to switch keyboard layout isn't working for example).

Another solution would be to play the game windowed and use an autohotkey script to turn the game borderless (but in Ys VIII I've some serious framerate issues in windowed mode so that may not be perfect either).
$^+g:: WinGetTitle, currentWindow, A IfWinExist %currentWindow% { WinSet, Style, -0xC40000 ; hide title bar WinSet, Style, -0x800000 ; hide thin-line border WinSet, Style, -0x400000 ; hide dialog frame WinSet, Style, -0x40000 ; hide thickframe/sizebox WinMove, , , 0, 0, 1920, 1080 } return
Hotkey is Ctrl + Shift + G.

The windows hotkeys definitely don't work. Neither alt enter, nor win shift left/right (depending on your screen config).

I double checked and both methods appear to be working for me.
