Keyboard Lighting
Is there any reason that anyone can think of as to why the game turns the lighting off on my Corsair K70 RGB Rapidfire keyboard?
Thinking there is a setting somewhere I am missing.
Thanks in advance for any help.

I'd like to know this as well.

I got a K100 and its fine. Not sure if its because I have solid lighting setting on the keyboard direct, and can keep the icue program closed.

Is this happening with that active lighting crap via icue? I know icue has tons of issues with some games.

I got strafe mk2 with custom profile set in iCUE and it's fine. Tried to actually fiddle around to see if i could cause this to happen but couldn't.

Okay, so after reading the replies, I checked, and there was an iCUE software update.
So, after updating the iCUE software, the lighting does work, but it does whatever it wants to do ... I need to look into how to simply have the lighting do what I have it normally set to do.

Hey! Against the Storm includes Corsair iCUE lightning integration. In order for it to work, you need to update iCUE to version 4.29.203 or up.

If you wan to to completely disable lightning integration in Against the Storm or other game, here's how to do it:
  • Open Corsair iCUE
  • Go to Settings (cog icon in the upper right corner)
  • Open the Software and Games tab,
  • Disable integration for all games or block Against the Storm.

I hope this helps!

Hey! Against the Storm features Corsair iCUE lightning integration, so if you have a Corsair case fan, the integration may take priority over your lightning settings. If there are any errors, the lights may go dark.

I just checked and everything seems to be working fine on my DARK CORE PRO mouse and K100 RGB keyboard. The lighting changes depending on the biome, etc.

Which Corsair case fan do you have? Can you please double-check if the iCUE app and case fans are updated to their latest versions?

Please also check if you have the game effects folder in the iCUE5 directory. Be default it's here:
C:\ProgramData\Corsair\CUE5\GameSDKEffects

If there's no AgainstTheStorm folder there, this could be the source of the issue and you may try to reinstall iCUE, or install iCUE 4.

You can also just disable Against the Storm integration in iCUE. Here's a short guide: https://eremitegames.freshdesk.com/a/solutions/articles/80001046320
