Sounds to me like a poor people who can't afford a descent rig problem.
Shall we all just play pixel games because thats what most people can run?
I'm telling you the reality of the situation, and what the devs themselves have said. Do with that information what you like; it's not going to change what happens. But if you're going to start throwing insults out, I'd recommend that you don't make both a grammatical and a spelling mistake in the same sentence: that would make you look stupid as well as rude.

I'd really like to be able to zoom far enough to see about 1/2 or more of the full map at once, ideally the whole thing.

Allow us to zoom out much farther or see an overview of my settlement (during normal play, building a settlement after embarking).
When the settlement spans many screens it's difficult to navigate across the disparate sections.

is it worth coming back to? I saw they had dlc but that zoom thing is tragic.,
