Copy/Paste buttons on production buildings

Two little buttons that you can click to copy your building settings from Bakery #1 onto newly built Bakery #2.

I also support this shortcut. But what i do instead is use global settings. It takes a while to get used to think and organize yourself but will solve the problem in the end, and become very conveninent!

A global setting? what setting is this?
Is this related to setting recipe details and amounts from one production building to a duplicate production building?
There are instances where I have around 2 to 3 Ranch buildings, and considering my raw resource output I have to set what these Ranches use and how much they produce. It would be nice to simply copy paste all these settings to other duplicated facilities.
