Otherwise its extremely situational...i typically won't roll them unless i uncovered a large node i wanted.
The trader often sells the blueprints, your blueprint rolls and embark points are valuable, much more valuable than a large camp haha
Starting with a farm for example is waaay more powerful than a large camp in the vast majority of cases.
