Do advanced camps give better yields?
So for example a starter trappers camp gives 1 star in meat insects and eggs. An advanced camp gives 2 stars in each. Does this mean the yield is bigger? The tooltip only mentions it can harvest large nodes.

Trying to figure out if its worth taking such blueprints even though there are no large nodes around.

No, they are faster and are able to do big nodes. Big nodes do give better yield.

Advanced camps are often a good choice.

you shouldn't take camp bps if you don't plan on using them for large nodes. you do want to use big nodes, tho

The speed increase is noticeable, so effectively increasing the yield per minute or whatever.

I will usually take a camp BP even if I don't have a large node yet, but have a small one that it can quicken the work for. It's always possible to find a large node for it later and then you'll be glad you have it.

While I don't really consider advanced camp blueprints worth spending embarkation points on, the returns on giant nodes are bonkers. It's why marshlands is my favourite biome.

Marshlands benefits most from large camps as you get super nodes to harvest.
Otherwise its extremely situational...i typically won't roll them unless i uncovered a large node i wanted.
The trader often sells the blueprints, your blueprint rolls and embark points are valuable, much more valuable than a large camp haha
Starting with a farm for example is waaay more powerful than a large camp in the vast majority of cases. :waytohell:
