Most ghosts won't do anything if you just ignore them, some have nice rewards and others can kill your villagers (they will be clearly marked, you won't miss those lol)
Basically, just ignore it if you cannot do it.
Once you've fulfilled both requirements, the button on the ghost's panel changes to 'Calm Spirit'; click that and it'll drop you a chest to open (no tools required, just open it!)
It is not usually we can get all reward also.
I would say 50-60% is what you can get, which is already seriously good enough.
The game don't has anything about "early/late difficulty".
Example if you open a forbidden glade, then it will just roll from the pool.
Same as ghost request regardless of your current year.
See, it is things like this. No, it is not dumb that you got a bad roll. You got a bad roll. It is not "high demands" or "so hard" or "impossible". It just happens that you don't have the resources to complete this one in time (a lot of the time, you can complete it if you decide to focus on it).
It is no different than opening any dangerous glade early. Cursed woodlands biome just mixes things up a little with increased risks and rewards; you know that going in, and it is your choice whether to try and settle there or not.
