Until now, i didn't know that the Demo button could be there.
Only saw it as a big green button where you could normaly buy the game also.
Thanks!
Demo shows up without issues on computer interface.
So, perhaps if enough steam deck users went and complained about this issue in Steam Deck reporting forums, Steam would fix it, and games and devs would not be blamed for issue they can not do anything about? ;)
i had to install the demo on my pc first, then it was showing up under my games library on the deck, but yea... not being able to see the demo button was a drag.
It should be possible to download the demo if you switch to the desktop mode on Steam Deck. I hope this helps!
Just played the demo 7 hours straight. I've wish-listed the title & will be picking it up later this week. Without a demo to bite into I would have just glossed over the game play footage and missed such a fantastic game.
Similar titles usually don't hold my attention for too long & IMO you've absolutely nailed the gameplay loop.
Could you please let me know what kind of sounds do you have in mind? In the full game, there are more sounds than in the demo, mostly related to other biomes (e.g. different sounds for cutting trees on each biome) or buildings and events (ones that are not available in the demo). There's also more music tracks on other biomes.
When it comes to tutorials, the demo has the same tutorial as the Early Access version. We plan to make some improvements to the tutorial in the future, but this will probably happen closer to the 1.0 release.
