Elf - Harpies
Dwarf - Beavers
Ork - Frogs
Bug - Humans
Lizards - Lizards (thought they ran out of ideas then)
Demon - Foxes
The normal fantasy trope classes are pretty much covered/renamed.
we could do with variants of
Elementals
Undead
Ghosts
or something new...
Human just look like pillbugs to me. Beavers check every last Dwarf trope I can think of, thats when I started looking for other parallels
Mind that I am not complaining. Its a good idea to open the field of species and not strictly serve dwarf/elf/etc for the umpteenth time
I would also love more dlcs like this, if they allow the developers to go on with this game, so that it stays fresh for a long time. This is a great game to come back to.
I would love to see a dlc that adds even more substantial variety to the aesthetic of the game. The frogs are a nice departure from the base aesthetic that still feels like it fits in the world.
Another prettier, floral inspired biome like the Scarlet Orchard would be so refreshing to break up the gloominess a bit.
They would love wine, of course, and gain bonus from flower fields /aesthetics
