Daily expedition - do I risk anything?
Can I fck myself up somehow by trying and failing a daily expedition? Will the cycle progress?

No, daily expeditions don't progress the cycle and they won't ♥♥♥♥ you up in any way, but being risk averse in AtS will! As for the cycle: The cycle repeats. Every failure is an opportunity - gather upgrade resources or try out a new strategy, then start the next cycle stronger and wiser.

Thx for info, I'am not risk averse btw, daily expedition just seem like a difficulty spike, wanted to try them out to see whats up but I don't wanna sacrifice my progress over it.

You do get a bit of resources for the daily so that can be useful if you haven't already maxed out the level. Otherwise there's not really much of a reason to do them.
