and yes, i agree with op and can totally relate. that curse is completely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. its super rng-based and if you get the bad ones there's nothing you can do about it. there's not skill or planning involved, just pure luck.
i got that curse once tho i was lucky and the summoned event was dark gate which was one of the easier forbidden glade events. but i still dislike this kinda of design very much
- 25% chance of death when eating
- lowered Forest Mystery thresholds
- lots of simultaneous blood flowers
- explosions covering more than the entire glade
- unconditional villager death
- and surely some others that can quickly become problematic
Some of these may not be that severe depending on the situation but it seems much less likely than with Dangerous glades.OP should consider left side instead... or use some miracle effects (faster glade work) and sea marrow with the bells (slower villager leaving) until the tame effect is finished.
The scarier one is the one that reduces threshold of forest mystery by 3 and then you happen to have the one where villagers die if they don't have services... (again, you need to use the miracle that lowers hostility by 100 for that season and pray you can get below the threshold)
Thanks, but I know what forbidden glade events are. The Stormbird will trigger the unending storm when it is being worked on to be tamed. If you choose to feed it (empathy option) or just let the event be for now nothing will happen.
It's just due to the phrasing of the initial post that I simply assumed that feeding hadn't been a feasible option in this particular instance.
