To reforge a Seal, you have to successfully establish a town right next to it. The Seals are surrounded by a special biome, the Sealed Forest, and are available only when a range of conditions are met:
The Blightstorm is almost there (the Cycle is ending);
A sufficient number of Seal Fragments were gathered (explained below);
The Seal is within the reach of your last town.
With tomorrow's update, we'll make it easier to settle near the Sealed Forest when the Cycle is not over.
I hope this helps!
The game really needs another visual for maybe a bubble or dome covering the seal and the tiles around it.
This effect would help players understand the seal is not down yet. Rolling mouse over around the seal it should say this barrier is removed at the end of cycle for you to embark.
Or simply just remove the barrier when players have enough and allow players to enter the seal early with a pop up saying embarking on this seal will end cycle upon winning
I mean not like "search in million pages encyclopedia" explained but "click at this thing and most likely a useful popup with exact information you needed appears".
I know we players are spoiled like that :P
The seal thing is an only exception I encountered so far. Seal was like: nope - you cannot click me nor settle near me! I won't tell you why, and I'll only display vague information on what I do. Nope - you can circle that mouse all around me and look for encyclopedia link/icon all you want - I'm not telling you! I'll remain big green flashing icon that's non-interactive with vague hints that I'm suppose to be important or something. Nhyaah!
Bad seal! Bad!
PS: Thanks for explanation - it's all clear to me now.
Please add this! Thumbs up if you agree. :)
Maybe this direction finder can be a toggle for that. And difficulty rings toggle.
needs to be in reach of the last town you made. which is the wagon icon town
