Sacrificing Sea Marrow Question

If you sac sea marrow while working the destroyed cage of the warbeast, does the reduced time work on the living matter spawns, as well? I never seem to have them both at the same time, to try it myself.

OMG. I just finished prestige 10 and did not realize sacrificing sea marrow speeds up glade events. UGHHHHHHHHHHH. Whenever I sacrificed sea marrow, I thought it was bugged out or the game made it so that burning sea marrow doesn't decrease hostility. I feel dumb.

Sea Marrow affects ALL glade event working speeds (as do other effects from cornerstones etc). Even caches and encampments, ruined buildings, etc. Even the living matter clones from storm effects. Granted, its the most impactful for danger events (both in how long they take and in helping to lessen the total work effect impact), but if you have the extra manpower why not double-dip with some other glade event tasks.

Yeah every fuel type has different effects. Though wood and coal both reduce hostility, they do so at different values. Meanwhile oil increases global production speed.
